You can cast. You have the equipment and the flies. Now what do you do?

Welcome to Flyfishmcgill.com, home of H&L McGill LLC, producer of "Figuring out Fly Fishing: Trout".

This instructional DVD is designed for people who have some basic fly fishing skills, but would like to learn more about fishing. The DVD is divided into 3 chapters.

Chapter 1 Figuring Out Water
You'll learn how to approach the water and enter the fish's world of riffles, runs, and pools. You'll view currents, structure, and hiding places where fish feed and live.
Chapter 2 Wet Flies and Streamers
You'll learn how to locate fish by using wet fly patterns systematically. And you'll learn how to entice a strike by presenting streamers in a life-like manner.
Chapter 3 Nymphs and Dry Flies
You'll learn how to cover subsurface feeding areas effectively using a nymph. And you'll learn to fish dry flies either as attractor patterns or imitating the natural insects.

We'll also suggest some good basic trout flies.
